visit us

and serve uganda

01

Pray

"And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.'" Mark 16:15

Pray, read the Word, and seek the counsel of others as you consider if now is the time the Lord may be calling you to go to Uganda and serve alongside FFH.

02

Prepare

Prepare your heart, soul and mind by learning more about Ugandan culture, considering how the Lord will have you use your gifting to serve FFH, and reading When Helping Hurts before you leave.

Guests can expect to visit students and families either at their homes or school, lead Saturday discipleship lessons and activities, and attend a Sunday church service.

03

Go

Typically, a mission trip to FFH is 10-14 days, including travel. The cost is between $3500-$4000 for all travel expenses. Lodging, most meals, and transportation while in Uganda are included. Guests are responsible for making flight arrangements. Guests are encouraged to bring at least two storage containers of needed supplies.

04

Share

God has given each of us our own particular and specific sphere of influence, we encourage each guest to share about their trip and experience before, during, and after their service in Uganda.  This is how we spread the word of these precious children and staff.  We trust God to bring each and every sponsor and support in His time so share what God has done in your life with FFH and Uganda.

"Eye witness is far better than a written or told story, hence it is very important for teams to visit FFH and see, feel, and touch.  Teams visiting builds a concrete relationship with students, staff, and parents of FFH since some children get to meet their sponsors physically.
Whenever a team visits there is growth of FFH both in number of children and infrastructures, creation of more awareness of what we are all about, our dreams, needs, and requirements are put in consideration or even met immediately.
